Analytics
QR analytics that don't expire
Every scan is counted and broken down by day, country, device and referrer. On paid plans that history stays for as long as you are a customer — no rolling window deletes last quarter’s campaign.
What analytics does redireo give me?
For each dynamic code you get total scans plus breakdowns by day, country, device and referrer. Day shows you the shape of a campaign over time; country shows where it landed; device shows what people scanned with; referrer shows how they reached the link. It is the set of cuts a marketer actually reports on.
How long do you keep the data?
On every paid plan, for as long as you are a customer. Scan pricing is what funds serving the redirect, so we do not also need to expire your history to manage cost. That matters for print and packaging campaigns that run for years — you can still compare this year’s scans to the first ones the code ever recorded.
How does that compare to other tools?
Some platforms cap retention on their entry plans. Bitly’s Core plan, reviewed July 2026, retains click and scan data for 30 days. On redireo’s paid plans there is no such window — the number you need in month thirteen is still there.
Can I pull the numbers into my own tools?
Yes. The same scan data is available through the redireo API, so you can read totals and breakdowns into your reporting stack or a warehouse instead of only viewing them in the console.
Analytics questions
What does redireo track for each QR code?
You get scan totals plus breakdowns by day, country, device and referrer for every dynamic code. That is enough to see when a campaign spikes, where scans come from, what people scan with, and how they arrived.
How long is my analytics data kept?
For as long as you are a customer, on every paid plan. There is no rolling window that quietly deletes older scans. For contrast, Bitly’s Core plan retains click and scan data for 30 days (reviewed July 2026); on redireo paid plans your history does not expire.
Do analytics expire on the Free plan?
The Free plan includes basic scan analytics so you can see the loop working on one code. The never-expiring retention promise applies to the paid plans, where campaign history is the point.
Can I get the numbers out programmatically?
Yes. Scan data is readable through the redireo API, so you can pull totals and breakdowns into your own reporting or a warehouse rather than only viewing them in the console.
