What content types can a redireo code hold?
A redireo code can be a URL, a PDF, a vCard digital business card, WiFi credentials, plain text, an email or an SMS. Every type is dynamic: the QR image encodes a short URL, and the actual destination or details live in the console where you can edit them at any time.
What does a scanner see for each type?
URL and PDF codes resolve to a 302 redirect that sends the scanner straight to your link or document. vCard, WiFi, text, email and SMS codes open an editable page hosted by redireo — the vCard page adds a downloadable .vcf contact so someone can save your card without typing anything.
Why keep the payload out of the image?
Encoding a short link instead of the raw payload is what makes a code editable after it ships. Fix a wrong WiFi password, swap a PDF for its updated version or repoint a vCard to a new number, and the change applies on the next scan. Change it in the console; the next scan follows the new rule, no reprint.
How does this compare to a free QR generator?
